Add-Ons

Here’s a list of add-ons that I use to make life in the World of Warcraft that much easier:

  1. Atlas/Atlas Loot: A necessity for those of us who like to look at the fabulous loot from instances and raids. Gives raid/instance maps and loot tables.
  2. Big Wigs/Little Wigs: Big Wigs is a mod for raid bosses that shows warnings for attacks, expected attacks, etc. Little Wigs is the 5-man version.
  3. Bongos: Bongos lets you make your own action bars, as many of them as you want, as big as you want, and wherever you want. A clean, minimalist add-on for buttons.
  4. Cartographer: Who doesn’t love having the entire map shown for you? It also has trade skill functions, but I don’t use them. I use it mostly for its coordinates.
  5. FuBar: An awesome little bar that you can customize with whatever you want to show on it. It also removes most of those pesky little buttons from your minimap that your add-ons have and puts them on the bar instead. Fu-adds that I have are: AmmoFu, ClockFu, DurabilityFu, LocationFu, MoneyFu, PerformaceFu, PetInfoFu, and ReloadUI.
  6. GuildRaidSnapShot: Because I take care of DKP sometimes for guild raids.
  7. I Have Macro Lol (IHML): It’s a versatile anytime macro add-on. It changes for raids, instances, dailys, whatever!
  8. Incubator: A raid spawn reset timer. Useful for knowing how long you have to down that boss!
  9. LightHeaded: This is a quest add-on that connects to the WoWHead message boards pertaining to quests. Usually the users post suggestions, help, and quest locations which make things much easier.
  10. Omen2: My threat-meter of choice.
  11. Quartz: An awesome cast bar replacement which shows cooldowns and cast times of your target as well. A very attractive looking mod.
  12. Recount: My damage meter of choice.
  13. X-Perl: A popular visual mod that changes how your character and party windows look. This includes moving portraits and also has the option to show your buffs and debuffs directly under your window. I love it.
