Egh. I know what you mean. I've been in groups with other hunters that just good, and I don't worry about them.

Respectively, I've also been in groups with other hunters two, three levels higher than I am, (or, since I'm seventy now, the same spec with a few tweaks), and are terrible. And they've been given the job of trapping (and my traps aren't used), and are terrible at it, and I pick up after them to try to pull things off of someone that really shouldn't be hit. And I still out DPS them.

Playing a hunter isn't easy, but playing a good one that knows how to trap isn't that much harder, unless the GROUP makes it hard.

For someone like me, who PuG more often than not, I've come to hope for the best, yet am not surprised when I get jerks that, no matter what I do, I am a huntard.

But then, on the other hand, nothing is ever so pleasing as someone whispering you at the end of an instance, and saying "wow, you're a really good hunter. Might I add you to my friend's list?"

This post above is an example of how I get when I'm pissed off around midnight before I go to bed, lol.

My only experience with warlocks is a friend of mine who leveled with me from 40's to about 60 and did terribly at playing a warlock but I guess got the job done. My other note of reference is from some guys I know IRL who think they're leetsauce at the game, think all you have to do as a hunter is left click and go make a sandwich, and have a habit of telling me how easy it is to play Warlocks, Paladins, etc.

Oh, and you know, playing with warlocks in general. Hey, my guild leader plays a warlock.

"I’m sure that playing a warlock isn’t nearly as difficult as having to chain trap something, pay attention to shots, keep an eye on the pet, and any of the other things hunters have to do."

Actually playing a warlock well is just as hard as playing a hunter well.

"I’m sure it’s real simple to just dot things up and use noobcoil."

About as simple as using only steady and auto shot as a hunter and NO other skills (traps, etc.).
You won't perform well, but hey, it's easy, isn't it?

Oh yeah, I'm a hunter myself but I do have a level 70 warlock alt.
