Kara

So, we went into Kara on Friday, and then did a bit more tonight. Considering it was our first run as a guild, and the first run for a few of those included (like me) we did pretty well!

We downed Attumen on our first try, though clearing the stables to get to him was a bit difficult for us in the beginning. We also downed Morose on our second try, a pretty big accomplishment for us in the opinion of many. I had the task of keeping a mob CC’d the whole fight, so I was pretty proud when I completed my role with minimum trouble and a little bit of tanking on Cuddles’ part when the trap broke a bit early.

We tried Maiden a few times that night and wiped pretty early in the fights. Tonight however, after four tries we got her down with some good positioning and some good totem placement. We moved on to Opera, and wiped on Big Bad Wolf once. One of our DPS had to leave however, and it was getting late so the GM called it a night. But, there’s always Friday!

Onawar, Guild Officer

I have recently been made a guild officer, which is pretty nifty. Having been on rather frequently, being typically reliable, not being a huntard, and other such admirable qualities have endeared me to my guild. Which makes me happy. I love the fact that they have offered me this position and this chance to help and interact with the guild. I also had my computer moved into the bedroom from the living room, which means that I’ll feel more willing to chat in Vent and socialize with the guildies that I adore.

We are also running our first Kara this Friday. We are prepared to die many times and not finish, but it will be a learning experience. I’ve never even set foot inside Kara, so I’m looking forward to it.

Sorry for the lack of meaningful posts, I imagine that once we start doing some Karas and whatnot, I will be making more posts. So far, we’ve been running heroics and started farming Zul’Gurub for the Turtle Book. First for our mage and second to sell on the AH.

Some New Friends

After a good hour or so of grinding, I got my Tiny Emerald Whelpling today. I tried once before to get one, and after FOUR hours, I gave up. I gave a yell of triumph, confusing my fiance and his father, and proceeded to hearth back to Shattrath.

And that dashing fellow beside Ona is Apollo, my Skettis Kaliri. After looking up some info on what pets are best for raiding, I decided that I wanted to snag myself an owl for the Screech ability. And what owl is better looking than Apollo? His name took me a while to come up with, after such pet names as Buttons (my Ghost Saber), Mittens (a lavender tiger I released previously), and Cuddles (my outlands raptor). Something cute didn’t really fit him, and with his warm coloring, I felt that Apollo was suitable.

Oh, and I got my shoulders! =3
